What do you mean by this?
I guess he means proprietary software/drivers/whatever for multimedia, for
instance, like movies DVDs, paying whomever has the license. Or the
nvidia/ati drivers.

as such, will not distribute them.
So in a box or not, that is not something that Novell could do.
