Looks like improvements have been made to RAM to make them more energy efficient, which is a very good thing.
And also; it is probably "all" retgarding thememory. Control circutry etc included. Speaking from experience as a field tech i'd sat anything more a 2 disk system requires above 400W. Especially if you have a powerful graphics card. Also, i have found (maybe not so scientifically) that AMD tends to be more "hungry"... The new Core2 Duo is actually lower in consumption than its predecessor Dual Core. As previously stated, try a bigger PSU. Id go for 500 or 650 W -- /Rikard ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- email : rikard.j@rikjoh.com web : http://www.rikjoh.com mob: : +46 (0)763 19 76 25 ------------------------ Public PGP fingerprint ---------------------------- < 15 28 DF 78 67 98 B2 16 1F D3 FD C5 59 D4 B6 78 46 1C EE 56 >
