If it is plugged in correctly then I suggest you REMOVE it in Yast's Control Centre/Hardware, unplug the power supply of the printer, plug the power back in again and let 10.3 come up with the message Found New Hardware -- or use Control Centre's Options Restart Detection of printers; the printer should be detected as an HP 8400 series printer.

I have installed OpenSuse 10.3 and my HP Photosmart 8450 refuses to print.
I have spent a lot of time trying to get it to work, but without sucess.
Could someone please help me to solve this problem.\
