Hi all again... My OpenSuse 10.3 serve is gonna serve a bounch of WinXP clients; I know that Samba can act as a DC but I cannot figure out what I really need to configure it all the way.
I just enabled Samba as DC but my own WinXP says that can't find the domain that I've configured on Samba...
Is there someone who has already done that and can help me a little?? I assume there is something to do with LDAP too... and maybe DNS also...
Any clue?
Bye and thank you all in advance!

Dunno about ldap... but you do need to add a _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.<your domain> IN SRV entry pointing to your domain server into your dns at least (samba docs hold more details). - -- ============================================================================== I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
