I'm interested in being able to edit some home video on DVD and re-write back to DVD format. Can anyone recommend something to the uneducated in this field?
Ken, I've had good success with LiVES for video editing. http://lives.sourceforge.net/ I've read about Kino as well: http://www.kinodv.org/ For transferring to a DVD, I've actually (now don't be shocked) had good luck with the command line. I have the mencoder command setup in a bash script: http://www.linux.com/feature/53702 I then take the mpg files and convert them to DVD using the KDE DVD Authoring Wizard. A little unpolished (doesn't tell you when a process is done) but works perfectly. http://dvdauthorwizard.sourceforge.net/view.php/page/Voorpagina HTH!! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
