I have a yahoo account as "backup" -- if I REALLY
need to send something out, IMMEDIATELY, and hotpop's
smtp is being flaky...then I use that. But a list
like this isn't worth the trouble of interacting with
it on yahoo or gmail or any other webmail service.

hotpop.com has been flaky lately.
sometimes it's taking 2-3 days to get messages off of
my machine to smtp.hotpop.com. :-/
Unfortunately, there's not much I can do about it,
other than switch to a pay service for POP access --
which I will probably do within the next year..but
for now, I'm kinda stuck with these glitches.
You could use a gmail account.
