Felix Miata suggested to use .wkl format which is created long before
ODF and even before Excel.

.wkl != .wk1

Lotus 1-2-3 formats include .wks, .wk1, .wk!, .wk3 and others. .wks is the
oldest. .wk1 is newer, but doesn't include multipage. .wk! includes
compression. .wk3 includes multipage, but was developed after Excel.

So do you also happen to know since which version they started to use
unicode? This is important for me and, if it never used unicode, it's a
trouble for me to use it. Multipage is not necessary to me:)
