Hi all,
I am new of opensuse mailing list although I am using opensuse/Suse since 9.0 release :-)
Since 10.2 release, using a flat monitor, I have an annoying problem: the system console (using ALT+F1/2... etc etc) is not well configured about screen position, and the first 5/6 chars on the left are out of the screen, even if the x server is well-positioned and configured when loaded. It happens also to the the bootsplash image or all the boot messages (using escape during boot)
How can I try to control/modify the linux console's screen settings?
Thank you in advance,
Valerio
I just let the monitor auto-adjust utility fix the position. Have your monitor that option?

Yes but if I use it X will be shown not as fine as before. -- ********************************************* Valerio Bontempi Blog: http://mithland.wordpress.com/ ********************************************* -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
