The various spelling; i.e. EXT3, ext3, etc. are examples of what I
tried in the file sytem box in the Mount Options box.
Hope this clarifies what I said previously
My guess is that you have separate partitions, and /var is on one of
those partitions. If so, you've probably fallen foul of bug #330705, to
which a workaround is available here:
