Hello, I like to find out if LPRng is still used. It has become somewhat silent regarding LPRng. Therefore it seems (amost) nobody uses LPRng and (amost) everybody uses CUPS so that I wonder if LPRng is still needed at all? If you use LPRng, please reply now! Please tell us about your environment and why you use LPRng, for example: - is it a stand-alone system (at home?) with one printer or a bigger networked environment with many printers - did you try out CUPS (if yes, why don't you use CUPS?) or do you use LPRng just because you used it all the time - is it only because some (which?) traditional application requires a traditional LPD spooler (did you try out cups-lpd?) or does LPRng work better for you than CUPS (why?)
