Both, that is the result of --no-libgl-fallback. Without it, you just get the seg fault. The was some suggestions relating the --no-libgl-fallback problem was being worked with "Bug 234154 - Additional Software Rendering libGL". I'm still stuck though. I also question if that is really the root of the problem since compiz did run under xorg 7.2 with a command line that *did* include -no-libgl-fallback. Go figure? -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
