I am trying to figure out how to make this ati software, I got the 
newest driver 8.42, installed, got to see the gears spinning on the 
popup window but when I try to access the catalyst control center, it 
sends messages saying that my ati driver is not working properly or my 
card has not support, I had it working on suse 10.2 but I don't know 
what is wrong with this part, I tried building that xorg-x11-libX11-7.2 
but no game, I read that the x1600 were reporting problems with this 
driver, I tried then using one of the older drivers, but same result.

Has anybody tried making this model from ati to work and got sucess with it?

Any comments would be welcome
