But the gimp depends on libgtk, which can be considered part of gnome.
See my other reply where removing all gimp components and reinstalling have not fixed things, sadly.
I would consider reinstalling everything you installed since the moment you installed gimpshop - using that rpm -qa --last thing. And watch the install list for the repos they come from.
