Hello Carlos,
At first thank you for your response.

It is a virtual computer, and during installation of VMWare-tools I was asked for resolution and I selected 1024*768. I cannot find in the BIOS setting any size of memory for graphics card which could have an effect as in computers with shared graphics card. Could you tell me, where in my protocol is written something about detection of GA.
PS: I need this ancient linux to continue in development under Kylix3.

The best would be, if Borland would continue with Kylix3 support or at least it would release as opensource as they did with Interbase. I will get with it at least more stable environment than I have now. I use for Kylix3 SuSE 9.3, but it hangs during simple writing of code in its editor.
How many potential users are willing to drop down to SuSE 7.3 (with its 2.0 kernel which has NO drivers for modern devices) ??? Roland....as an independant observer here, the real answer here is to bite the bullet, and migrate from Kylix to something that runs on software that's supported, or at least runs on a modern kernal, and is open-source so that, if need be, you can maintain it when something goes wrong. Right now, you're no different from someone who's making a really cool hot-rod customization ... for a 1927 La Salle... the overwhelming majority of which have not only been scrapped, but melted down, and re-forged into new steel, and manufactured into new cars, and repeated the cycle probably half a dozen times already. Or to put it another way, it's as if you're doing software development for 4.2 BSD Unix. Great system for its day, but it's hopelessly obsolete, and doesn't recognize any modern hardware. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
