I wonder what I am missing for the sound?
Same with my 10.0 64 bit install.
According to mplayer output it can not load the w32codec (the orig. wmv/wma codecs) so it uses ffmpegs ffwmv3 video codec, and does not find suitable audio codec. That explains why we do not have sound. On 32 bit system mplayer uses the codecs from wion32codec pack.

In my system, it's only Amarok that doesn't work with CD's . Other apps, such as Kaffine work fine. Besides, do CD's need a codec? BTW, how do you get rid of that "video" crap in Kaffine, when a CD is playing? I wish they wouldn't load down apps with such garbage. -- Use OpenOffice.org http://www.openoffice.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
