In "Services" page of the utility's configuration notebook, the only remote source is ftp://mirrors.netbg.com/opensuse/distributions/o (Type: ZYPP and Active).
If it is not copy and paste error than link: ftp://mirrors.netbg.com/opensuse/distributions/o is not valid. It is not 'distributions' and even with 'distribution' it leads nowhere.
My clumsiness: if I had stretched the window horizonally, I would have seen instead: ftp://mirrors.netbg.com/opensuse/distribution/10.2/repo/non-oss/suse (note the additional subdirectory at the end).
This is for installation of opensource (oss) and non-opensource (non-oss) software: ftp://mirrors.netbg.com/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/oss ftp://mirrors.netbg.com/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/non-oss
This is for updates, ie.security and critical functionality patches: ftp://mirrors.netbg.com/opensuse/update/10.3 and it the only one used by updater applet.
To add them you can run in console as root user:
zypper ar ftp://mirrors.netbg.com/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/oss oss zypper ar ftp://mirrors.netbg.com/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/non-oss non-oss zypper ar ftp://mirrors.netbg.com/opensuse/update/10.3 update
In installing the above (with the correct version number, of course, I found that "ar" is not a valid command. From the choice offered me, I chose instead "sa" (add service). Many thanks. --
