Caleb,

As far as I know HFS+ never supported writting. This is the
description I get for HFS+:

"A portable, free implementation of routines for accessing HFS+
volumes. Currently only reading is supported. Authors: -------- Klaus
Halfmann".

Maybe there is other software that supports writing to hfs disks. Try
hfsutils or something like that.

Cheers,
- Jake
