[opensuse] Migration of Mail to new Box

Hi List,
I use KDE and Kmail for my mail. I am in the process of migrating my mail from
an old PC to a new one which is running 10.3 :)
In the past when I have migrated I have just copied the Mail folder to the new
location. However its a painful process to get everything working in good
order (over 5GB of mail).
Lately I also tried with migrating the mail to an IMAP server which is on the
new box but unfortunately I can't drag folders into the IMAP profile and also
it sometimes just freaks out when copying over 10 emails at a time.
Are there any migration tools out there to perform such migrations? Any other
suggestions?
