Exactly.

I think it is similar in Spain.
The thing is, to demonstrate the fax has been sent, we pay the post office
to send the fax, so they send and witness it. With email... I can't see
how to do that, there is no way to prove, from the sender side, that it
has even reached the destination machine. It can break in so many ways...
