On my Toshiba P35 laptop, opensuse 10.2, *nothing* is shown in Yast IDEIt might not be enabled, try the command hdparm -d /dev/hda to check if it is enabled (you need to be root to run this command). If it is not, you can enable it with the command hdparm -d1 to enable it. The man page gives more information on the command. Also, it wouldn't hurt to check the BIOS settings.
DMA Setup. Is this normal???
