Hi, Everyone. I asked someone else if they could get the wifi syncing to work with the Palm. He reported to me that he could get the wifi syncing done on his Debian system, but his wife's OpenSuSE install wouldn't sync over wifi (using the same methodology). Does anyone else have experience with this? Thanks for your help. I'm okay syncing over USB with the Palm, but since the Palm does have wifi, I'd rather do it that way, if I could. Thanks. :) On 9/16/07, Brian Hartman <bhartman36@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi, Everyone.
I have a Palm T|X, and I would like to sync over wifi. I have the wifi connection to the Web working (i.e., I can surf the Web on the Palm), but the Palm and HotSync (either Jpilot or pilot-xfer) don't talk to each other. Here's the command I've been trying to run:
pilot-xfer -p net:any -b MyPDA
I have the HotSync app on the T|X set up for a network sync, and I I'm trying to use the same IP that the T|X says it's using to browse the Web, but it doesn't seem to work. The Palm can't see my computer (at the point in the HotSync where it asks where you want to connect to) and if I put in the IP address manually, it never connects.
Can anyone give me a hand here? Thanks. :)
