Have a Canon IP90V color printer that I use when traveling. I have tried all of the print drivers suggested by various parties on the internet. None of them work properly. I either have to futz around to get the size correct or the printing comes out so light you cannot read it. Print preview shows up OK, but it is sure not what you get on the output.
This printer works great and Macbook with OSX 10.4.9 which also uses cups. Tried finding a PPD file on the Macbook, but could not find it. Why does it work with Macbook and not Linux when they are both using cups? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Have you tried to edit printer preferences in YaST printer setup? From your description it seems that default settings are not good. If it is so, you can report it as a bug against openSUSE version that you use.

Would like to findout how to get the driver from macbook since it is BSD, but have had no success.
