[opensuse] How to setup an ftp update location

I've been looking for this information for a while. I want to copy all
the install CDs I have for Suse and put them on a FTP server. Then I want
to be able to go into Yast and point it there so that the next time I try
to install a piece of software, it looks on the ftp site first.
So, I copied all the CDs to the FTP site using the structure (x86/disk1,
x86/disk2, x64/disk1, x64/disk2 ...).
Yast would only add the site if I pointed it to one of the disk
directories. I haven't tried to install anything from it but I'm afraid
it will ask me for the other disks and I'm trying to install software on a
machine that is in a different state.
Can anyone tell me how to do this? I know it has to do with the structure
but I don't know what the correct format is.
Thank you in advance.
Will.
