No, I mean that if you install libgnomecanvas-2.14.x downloaded from gnome-unstable branch in OpenSuSE Repositories, Evolution always crashes. Sure. Even when they are same version, but different release o compilation.
I am confused. I have tried to install libgnomecanvas from gnome:stable repo at opensuse but it says 'package already installed" using zmd and when i rpm -Uvh <filename> it says: error: Failed dependencies: libgnomecanvas = 2.14.0 is needed by libgnomecanvas-devel-2.14.0-36.3.i586 So, use of stable gnaome stable will or will not work?
Yes. It will work, if it's stable release rpm package. The other issue is that you already have installed "libgnomecanvas-devel" package and you're trying to upgrade a "base" package from antoher release. So go and, install it by hand (it's the best way, imho, at least) using --force option in rpm command. Good luck!
