Part of the problem is that the Qt package manager interface itself is
pretty dire, hopefully both can be improved significantly towards a
common consistent & usable interface in 10.3++.

So please do raise the issue on -project, 10.3 is not going to change
this late in release. For 10.3++ hopefully both versions can be fixed.
