I really hope there is such a tool. Otherwise I have an awful lot of work/fooling around to do. That is what I meant when I said,in my original post, I did a really dumb/stupid thing when I partitioned that disk.
OK. There are 2 options. 1) Run YaST partitoner and try to add more partitions, not to delete or resize /dev/sda4 2) Run in console as root cfdisk and see what it has to tell. In normal circumstances it doesn't list extended partition at all. The space after 10055 cylinder should be explicitly listed as free.
