FWIW, I recently created a RAID 5 array over 4 SCSI drives. It was
quite easy to do. First create the partitions, then the RAID array.
The next step, is to use LVM, if you're going to have multiple
"partitions" in the RAID array. If only one, you can just create it the
usual way on the RAID array.
