Yes, you will. the 32bit packages supplied allow you to run all 32-bit
programs. Just install e.g. the 32-bit firefox and YaST will install
the needed 32-bit packages.

64-bit might help even with smaller RAM - the CPU has extra registers
that allow some speed up...
