As Russ already said, this is a known issue. The original 2 entries should be
deleted in case of a kernel update, but they aren't. This will be fixed with
the next maintenance update.
Thus, the last (original) 2 entries - "Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 10"
and "Failsafe -- Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 10" are redundant, you can
just delete them either by using the YaST2 Bootloader module or by
editing /boot/grub/menu.lst manually. In case of lilo, you can do the same by
editing /etc/lilo.conf.
If you manually edit those configuration files, be aware to set the "default"
value to the first entry, so it gets booted by default.
I hope this helps.
