What's the go here? I'm not sending to anything like that address (hansabetrug@yahoo.de)??
Indirectly you are. The list server forwards your mail to all subscribers with you as the sender, which means that if there's a problem with a subscriber, you get the error message.
Forward the error message to opensuse-owner@opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
But I only get it when I send from my Thunderbird client in Suse - if I send directly from Gmail it doesn't happen....?
For what it's worth, gmail is, well ... , different. I'm on a couple of other mailing lists where lots of users are on gmail because of the way it stores their mail and handles threads. But a common complaint is that gmail seems to eat messages from them. That is, they post to the list, and everyone else can see what they posted, but the only way they see their own message again is if someone else replies and quotes it.
I tried it, didn't like it, and prefer to use my ISP account and Thunderbird. It's reassuring to see what I've posted to the lists, at the same time everyone else does.
Maybe something like that is going on here?
Yep, now that you mention it, I don't get my own mail either. But the HUGE advantage of GMail is when you move ISPs, and don't have to stuff around changing email addresses, which I have been doing in the last few days.... :-( -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
