Tried some tricks I found on the web such as adding directories to the PATH, but all I got was a segmentation fault, so I changed that back. Deinstalling and installing java-1_5_0-sun, java-1_5_0-sun-plugin and azureus didn't change anything.
Any idea around?
Try running as root "update-alternatives --display java" or "update-alternatives --config java" to make sure it is set to the 1_5_0 version.
You can also simply go to a command line Geeko > Applications Tab > System Menu > Terminal Program (Konsole).
From there type first java -version. It will tell you which version of java is running for your user.
You can then type rpm -q java-1_5_0-sun to see if you actually ahve it installed. (You can also type rpm -q java-1_4_2-sun to see if that is still installed.) Also, typing which java will tell you where your java installation is located. You can go to that folder and see what is there.
