We have got this since a long time, get xwinwrap app from here, and
run coolbg in shell, xwinwrap allows you to use movies as wallpaper
too:

Not possible yet, run xwinwrap/coolbg atlantis

Use firepaint plugin to paint fire, will be available as soon as I get
some time to package it.

Configure sound events (main-menu -> more application -> sound, should
work, someone was working on sound plugin for compiz though, so may be
we would get that too.

It is called mousegesture plugin, it has been around for some time,
not on the packages though, you would need to get the tarball and
compile yourself.
