Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way for a terminal program to startup automatically when a machine is restarted, and when you login it will show as an open window?
If not, can it be startup if a user automatically logs in to the gui?
Can it be startup just in the console with no gui? (This would be the best, as this program is running on a server and I don't need the gui running)
Thanks, Dan.
It sounds like you just want to change the default runlevel to 3 (full multiuser with network), instead of its current setting of 5 (full multiuser with network and GUI). If you go into Yast, select the "System" option, then "System Services", and then select the "Expert" mode, you can change the default runlevel to 3. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
