Hello, I'd like to ask people's opinions on mail clients when using multiple IMAP servers and different mail identities or profiles. I have 4 different imap profiles, each with different settings, names, smtp servers, etc. It is also essential to use 'disconnected imap', or 'synchronous imap' where the imap store contents are mirrored on local disk. This is a 'must-have' since I must often work in places without 'net connections (or very restricted connections). I'd also like to sync my calendar and task list with my phone. I currently use Seamonkey with the Calendar extension. Does anybody have any other integrated solution? Regards Sean Hudibras wrote:

Hi all,
far from wanting another "religious war"... is it me or is Evolution more feature-rich than Thunderbird?
I even found references like this one: http://ask.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/12/23/1648242
One of the things I found good on Evolution is the ability to send an email to the attendees for a meeting when a new calendar entry is created... this fails on Thunderbird+Lightning (version 0.3.1), although I heard that Lightning 0.5 is about to hit the streets and will provide such feature as well...
All in all, this is my second day using Evolution. I'm more KDE-oriented and also a Thunderbird/Firefox user for years now but I have to admit that Evolution looks quite decent...
As usual, suggestions on this subject are more than welcomed!
Evolution is a great mail client. I use it since 0.8 (or so) version, and I fell in love with it, and never leave apart at all. It makes everything I want, so what else?
Cheers, Alejandro.
TIA, Martin
