Sorry I can't help with the resize issue, but check out something
called EasyBCD.

It's a program that is able to manipulate Vista's boot manager so it
can accept a Linux O.S.
Actually I could never get it to work with linux, so I ended up
setting up my system with grub, which allows me to select either
opensuse or windows. If I select windows, it then boots into Vista's
boot manager and I can then select either Vista or XP at that point.
This might at least get it to the point where you can play those games.
