Hello
I´ve installed new Kubuntu 7.04 and I´m surprised.Loading of web pages (i use opera and konqueror) is much faster than in openSUSE.
Even in openSUSE i turned off IPV6 and for konqueror via the YaST2 /etc/sysconfig editor module -> Desktop ->
KDE_USE_IPV6 from ‘yes’ i changed to ‘no’
or edit the file /etc/sysconfig/windowmanager directly
and changed the line
KDE_USE_IPV6=”yes”
to
KDE_USE_IPV6=”no”
For kubuntu is tip for konqueror also,but i didn´t it.So in Kubuntu is IPV6 turned on.It was the same in K/Ubuntu 6.10 also.
So i don´t understand how is that possible?Have you tried it?
Thanks
