the source rpm contains the version 0.9.4, and the specfile is quite
straightforward. I would think that you might want to rebuild the rpm and
see for yourself. There is a newer version 0.9.5 available on the project's
website http://www.tcpdump.org/. Maybe that will help with your problems.

The SRPM does *NOT* interest me. What interests me is that third-party
software refuses to run due to bug in openSUSE.
