Dear All,

I've recently installed OpenSUSE 10.2. Everything now works ... sort
of ... except Open Office. When I start that (as an ordinary user) I get
the following error:

<gavin@lutoslawski>ooffice
/usr/lib/ooo-2.0/program/javaldx: /opt/foam/OpenFOAM/linux/gcc-3.4.3/lib/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_4.2.0' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6)
/usr/lib/ooo-2.0/program/pagein: /opt/foam/OpenFOAM/linux/gcc-3.4.3/lib/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_4.2.0' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6)
/usr/lib/ooo-2.0/program/soffice.bin: /opt/foam/OpenFOAM/linux/gcc-3.4.3/lib/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_4.2.0' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6)

** (process:8478): WARNING **: Unknown error forking main binary /
abnormal early exit ...

Surprisingly, if I start ooffice when logged on as root, it starts fine.
Any suggestions about what I might be doing wrong with this?

Gavin
