Hi Frank,

"noop anticipatory deadline [cfq]"
I tried to install the smtp-kernel again, and it seems the machine is happy
again. Only yast is boosting it hardly, but after a reboot into the smp
kernel it works well, nearly fast. How can I optimize it a little? Because
right now my P4 seems to be faster... I mean .. which kernel parameters do I
have to set to make sure that a programmer can work fast and effective with
it? I am of the opinion that a dual core processor should run a little faster
than an P4.
Thanks for all,
Angie.
