I went back and reread your thread opener from 3 hours ago and have to
wonder how if you set in 'Section "Device"': 'Option "NoDDC"' how Xorg can
know what the range is and disregard your attempt to put it where you know
it should be, e.g. 'HorizSync 29-62'. Are there no clues you can comprehend
in /var/log/Xorg.0.log?

I went back and reread your thread opener from 3 hours ago and have to
