Very good idea. Mine is networked and I prints/copies/scans greatly,
from both Win and Lin. Lin works perfect thanks to HPlip.
You could see whether it works with a hp jetdirect printserver. Instead
of shelling out $$$ to find out, you could ask at the extremely helpful
hplip mailinglist.
