Hello list,
I have enabled "use energy saving" for the screen in kde control center, and I
have also enabled a screen saver. Screen saver always works as expected, but
going to stand-by/turning off of the monitor only works sometimes and
sometimes not.
I wouldn't wonder if it would never work (then I'd think I didn't enable it
correctly), but what I don't understand is, that halv the time when I leave
my PC untouched the monitor goes to stand by and the other halv not. I can
see no difference - it doesn't depend on whether windows are open or not...
Where and what do I have to look to find out about possible reasons?
I use openSuse 10.0, kde 3.5.6 "release 25.2".
thanks for hints.
