Would this work for you?

- put AutoCAD onto a Win2003 terminal server.
- make a Linux desktop icon with "rdesktop -some-parameters... -s "C:\Program 
Files bla. bla.autocad.exe" IP-of-w2003-server"

That would give the user a perfect fine SuSE/Linux desktop with an AC icon.
