what are the basic differences , appart from the support being offered ? (sles 10 /opensuse 10.2).

Answered a hundred times on this list in the archives and also on the Novell site. Short answer is SLES is industrial grade, and opensuse is roll your own. You can make opensuse just as robust and complete as SLES if you value your time at about 25¢ per hour. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
