If you change your BIOS settings, you should not change your GRUB. That is, if your BIOS is set to boot from CD-ROM, you don't need GRUB that boots from CD-ROM, as it is already built into the SUSE CD. But if you boot from HDD, you definetely need to add "boot from CD" option to GRUB.
