Firewire is twice as fast as usb 1.1, but not as fast as usb 2.0

There is a new firewire slowly starting to appear that will
be about twice as fast as existing usb 2.0 (or existing firewire)
but I've not actually seen this in production yet.

You would be better off with a external scsi enclosure
if you want my opinion.

How might I do this? I can get a PCI to SCSI card, but can't find a simple SATA to SCSI enclosure.
