[opensuse] Upgrading from 10.1 to 10.2 with conflicts

Hi,
I try to upgrade from 10.1 to 10.2 however I cannot get past the package
conflict stage.
There are a lot of conflicts and I try to resolve them. However there are only
two possible outcomes:
a) The whole installation crashes and is restarted.
b) I get an empty conflict list with three options: "Ok - neu prüfen" (check
again) "Experts" and "Cancel". The Experts option writes a file to the
filesystem. The "OK" option checks something and then lets the empty list
reappear again. I cannot use cancel because the installer does not let me
past this stage with open conflicts.
What is the best way to resolve this issue?
