Hello everyone: It seems i have not been able to listen to any sound in my user account because it is not included in the audio group. Which brings me to the important question: how can I include a user in the audio group?
As root: usermod -A audio <user> But I doubt if that's the real cause. $ id uid=1000(theo) gid=100(users) groups=10(wheel),16(dialout),33(video),100(users) No audio group here either. Sure you have the mixer setup properly? Is /proc/asound/oss/sndstat sane? Theo (listening to Virgin) -- Theo v.
