[opensuse] ATI Driver 8.35.5 Update Woes.

When I generate a distribution-specific driver package for ATI driver 8.35.5,
performance is severely degraded and XGL is disabled. I ended up having to
revert back to driver version 8.34.8 to get performance and XGL working.
Well, somewhat working. About half the time I boot up, the X server either
hangs with a black screen, or gives me a "display 0 busy" error.
Any experts run across this yet?
