Well, I see that Ubuntu can have customized KDE kicker !

How-to make the same with openSUSE ?
The gradient effect is simply by adding a background image.
I mean group "quick-start" applications, such as konqueror, and
"services" such as kmix to be half-vertical-size?
Right click panel -> add applet -> quick start.
